A few weeks have passed since our last newsletter—so it’s high time to bring you the latest AI, lean, and agile news from our company. 

Here’s an overview:

The Scaled Agile Framework is constantly evolving. Core SAFe is the world’s most widely used operating model for scaling Lean and Agile practices across the entire enterprise.

Now, SAI is introducing the operating model for the AI era: AI-Native SAFe . It builds on Core SAFe and offers an AI-native operating model that helps companies derive value from AI.

Rather than simply adding AI capabilities to the existing SAFe framework, this version represents a true redesign. AI-Native SAFe enables organizations to integrate AI into Lean and Agile practices, puts results front and center, and provides governance, structure, and best practices to ensure that “faster” also means “better.”

Robin Barten  is the newest addition to the Scagilize team. A transformation consultant, executive coach, and certified SAFe® SPC/Trainer, he has more than ten years of international experience implementing large-scale change processes in companies.

Back in the SAFe program, we’re offering our half-day courses, which take place over three (slightly longer) mornings instead of the usual two full days. Many participants find it easier to fit this format into their daily work schedules. The instructor is once again our popular SPCT, Russell Andrews.

Scaled Agile is constantly updating its course portfolio. Since early 2026, the Leading SAFe course has been available in an AI-empowered version — and now also includes German course materials.

This course provides the fundamental SAFe knowledge needed to lead an organization using (scaled) lean/agile principles while integrating AI as a powerful tool to accelerate work.
